Someone made an entry on FB and I felt to comment on it and this below is what I wrote. As it is the path of our training in our walk in Christ I felt to put it here. Our training is one thing – To learn to walk as Jesus walked – and Jesus walked “in the bosom of the Father”.
1Jn 4:16 “and we have known and believed the love that God has for us.”
There are times when we ‘know Him loving us’ and there ….. we are at full peace, we see and we understand mysteries. The finding of, and our immersion in, this place is the only purpose of every scripture, every teaching and everything Christian.
There are times when we predominantly believe He loves us because we are not ‘in’ the experiencing of His love at that time. These times are where, in our feelings of being separated, we cry out ‘as the deer pants for the water ….. ‘ and in our desperation we are willing to let go those things in us that God knows are keeping us from greater yet oneness with Him. The desperation for contact leads us deeper.
